Chapter 11
1
And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

+w The blind|strong=“G5185”+w* +w receive their sight|strong=“G0308”+w*, +w and|strong=“G2532”+w* +w the lame|strong=“G5560”+w* +w walk|strong=“G4043”+w*, +w the lepers|strong=“G3015”+w* +w are cleansed|strong=“G2511”+w*, +w and|strong=“G2532”+w* +w the deaf|strong=“G2974”+w* +w hear|strong=“G0191”+w*, +w the dead|strong=“G3498”+w* +w are raised up|strong=“G1453”+w*, +w and|strong=“G2532”+w* +w the poor|strong=“G4434”+w* +w have the gospel preached to them|strong=“G2097”+w*.

¶ Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
