Chapter 14

Drought, Famine, Sword, and Plague

1

[This is] the word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning… the drought:

𐤃𐤁𐤓 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤀𐤔𐤓 𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤓𐤌𐤉𐤄𐤅 𐤏𐤋 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤉 𐤄𐤁𐤑𐤓𐤅𐤕

דְבַר־ יְהוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֤ה אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ עַל־ דִּבְרֵ֖י הַבַּצָּרֽוֹת׃ ḏə·ḇar- Yah·weh ’ă·šer hā·yāh ’el- yir·mə·yā·hū ‘al- diḇ·rê hab·baṣ·ṣā·rō·wṯWLC · 1

“Judah mourns and her gates languish. [Her people] wail for the land, and a cry goes up from Jerusalem.

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 𐤀𐤁𐤋𐤄 𐤅𐤔𐤏𐤓𐤉𐤄 𐤀𐤌𐤋𐤋𐤅 𐤒𐤃𐤓𐤅 𐤋𐤀𐤓𐤑 𐤅𐤑𐤅𐤇𐤕 𐤏𐤋𐤕𐤄 𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌

יְהוּדָ֔ה אָבְלָ֣ה וּשְׁעָרֶ֥יהָ אֻמְלְל֖וּ קָדְר֣וּ לָאָ֑רֶץ וְצִוְחַ֥ת עָלָֽתָה׃ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם yə·hū·ḏāh ’ā·ḇə·lāh ū·šə·‘ā·re·hā ’um·lə·lū qā·ḏə·rū lā·’ā·reṣ wə·ṣiw·ḥaṯ ‘ā·lā·ṯāh yə·rū·šā·limWLC · 2

The nobles send their servants for water; they go to the cisterns, but find no water; their jars return empty. They are ashamed and humiliated; they cover their heads.

𐤅𐤀𐤃𐤓𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤔𐤋𐤇𐤅 𐤑𐤏𐤅𐤓𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤌 𐤁𐤀𐤅 𐤏𐤋 𐤂𐤁𐤉𐤌 𐤌𐤑𐤀𐤅 𐤋𐤀 𐤌𐤉𐤌 𐤊𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤔𐤁𐤅 𐤓𐤉𐤒𐤌 𐤁𐤔𐤅 𐤅𐤄𐤊𐤋𐤌𐤅 𐤅𐤇𐤐𐤅 𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤌

וְאַדִּ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם שָׁלְח֥וּ צְעוֹרֵיהֶם לַמָּ֑יִם בָּ֣אוּ עַל־ גֵּבִ֞ים מָ֣צְאוּ לֹא־ מַ֗יִם כְלֵיהֶם֙ שָׁ֤בוּ רֵיקָ֔ם בֹּ֥שׁוּ וְהָכְלְמ֖וּ וְחָפ֥וּ רֹאשָֽׁם׃ wə·’ad·di·rê·hem šā·lə·ḥū ṣə·ʿō·rē·hɛm lam·mā·yim bā·’ū ‘al- gê·ḇîm mā·ṣə·’ū lō- ma·yim ḵə·lê·hem šā·ḇū rê·qām bō·šū wə·hā·ḵə·lə·mū wə·ḥā·p̄ū rō·šāmWLC · 3

  • The ground is cracked because no… rain has fallen on the land. The farmers are ashamed; they cover their heads.

𐤁𐤏𐤁𐤅𐤓 𐤄𐤀𐤃𐤌𐤄 𐤇𐤕𐤄 𐤊𐤉 𐤋𐤀 𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤂𐤔𐤌 𐤁𐤀𐤓𐤑 𐤀𐤊𐤓𐤉𐤌 𐤁𐤔𐤅 𐤇𐤐𐤅 𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤌

בַּעֲב֤וּר הָאֲדָמָה֙ חַ֔תָּה כִּ֛י לֹא־ הָיָ֥ה גֶ֖שֶׁם בָּאָ֑רֶץ אִכָּרִ֖ים בֹּ֥שׁוּ חָפ֥וּ רֹאשָֽׁם׃ ba·‘ă·ḇūr hā·’ă·ḏā·māh ḥat·tāh kî lō- hā·yāh ḡe·šem bā·’ā·reṣ ’ik·kā·rîm bō·šū ḥā·p̄ū rō·šāmWLC · 4

Even… the doe in the field deserts her newborn fawn because there is no grass.

𐤊𐤉 𐤂𐤌 𐤀𐤉𐤋𐤕 𐤁𐤔𐤃𐤄 𐤅𐤏𐤆𐤅𐤁 𐤉𐤋𐤃𐤄 𐤊𐤉 𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤋𐤀 𐤃𐤔𐤀

כִּ֤י גַם־ אַיֶּ֙לֶת֙ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה וְעָז֑וֹב יָלְדָ֖ה כִּ֥י הָיָ֖ה לֹֽא־ דֶּֽשֶׁא׃ kî ḡam- ’ay·ye·leṯ baś·śā·ḏeh wə·‘ā·zō·wḇ yā·lə·ḏāh kî hā·yāh lō- de·šeWLC · 5

Wild donkeys stand on barren heights; they pant for air like jackals; their eyes fail for lack of pasture.”

𐤅𐤐𐤓𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤏𐤌𐤃𐤅 𐤏𐤋 𐤔𐤐𐤉𐤌 𐤔𐤀𐤐𐤅 𐤓𐤅𐤇 𐤊𐤕𐤍𐤉𐤌 𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤊𐤋𐤅 𐤊𐤉 𐤀𐤉𐤍 𐤏𐤔𐤁

וּפְרָאִים֙ עָמְד֣וּ עַל־ שְׁפָיִ֔ם שָׁאֲפ֥וּ ר֖וּחַ כַּתַּנִּ֑ים עֵינֵיהֶ֖ם כָּל֥וּ כִּי־ אֵ֥ין עֵֽשֶׂב׃ ū·p̄ə·rā·’îm ‘ā·mə·ḏū ‘al- šə·p̄ā·yim šā·’ă·p̄ū rū·aḥ kat·tan·nîm ‘ê·nê·hem kā·lū kî- ’ên ‘ê·śeḇWLC · 6

Although our iniquities testify against us, O LORD, act for the sake of Your name. Indeed, our rebellions are many; we have sinned against You.

אִם־ עֲוֺנֵ֙ינוּ֙ עָ֣נוּ בָ֔נוּ יְהוָ֕ה עֲשֵׂ֖ה לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמֶ֑ךָ כִּֽי־ מְשׁוּבֹתֵ֖ינוּ לְךָ֥ רַבּ֥וּ חָטָֽאנוּ׃ ’im- ‘ă·wō·nê·nū ‘ā·nū ḇā·nū Yah·weh ‘ă·śêh lə·ma·‘an šə·me·ḵā kî- mə·šū·ḇō·ṯê·nū lə·ḵā rab·bū ḥā·ṭā·nūWLC · 7

O Hope of Israel, its Savior in times of distress, why are You like a stranger in the land, like a traveler who stays but a night…?

𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤄 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 𐤌𐤅𐤔𐤉𐤏𐤅 𐤁𐤏𐤕 𐤑𐤓𐤄 𐤋𐤌𐤄 𐤕𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤊𐤂𐤓 𐤁𐤀𐤓𐤑 𐤅𐤊𐤀𐤓𐤇 𐤍𐤈𐤄 𐤋𐤋𐤅𐤍

מִקְוֵה֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֽוֹשִׁיע֖וֹ בְּעֵ֣ת צָרָ֑ה לָ֤מָּה תִֽהְיֶה֙ כְּגֵ֣ר בָּאָ֔רֶץ וּכְאֹרֵ֖חַ נָטָ֥ה לָלֽוּן׃ miq·wêh yiś·rā·’êl mō·wō·šî·‘ōw bə·‘êṯ ṣā·rāh lām·māh ṯih·yeh kə·ḡêr bā·’ā·reṣ ū·ḵə·’ō·rê·aḥ nā·ṭāh lā·lūnWLC · 8

Why are You like a man taken by surprise, like a warrior powerless to save? Yet You are among us, O LORD, and we are called by Your name… Do not forsake us!

𐤋𐤌𐤄 𐤕𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤊𐤀𐤉𐤔 𐤍𐤃𐤄𐤌 𐤊𐤂𐤁𐤅𐤓 𐤋𐤀 𐤉𐤅𐤊𐤋 𐤋𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤉𐤏 𐤅𐤀𐤕𐤄 𐤁𐤒𐤓𐤁𐤍𐤅 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤍𐤒𐤓𐤀 𐤅𐤔𐤌𐤊 𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤍𐤅 𐤀𐤋 𐤕𐤍𐤇𐤍𐤅𐤎

לָ֤מָּה תִֽהְיֶה֙ כְּאִ֣ישׁ נִדְהָ֔ם כְּגִבּ֖וֹר לֹא־ יוּכַ֣ל לְהוֹשִׁ֑יעַ וְאַתָּ֧ה בְקִרְבֵּ֣נוּ יְהוָ֗ה נִקְרָ֖א וְשִׁמְךָ֛ עָלֵ֥ינוּ אַל־ תַּנִּחֵֽנוּ׃ס lām·māh ṯih·yeh kə·’îš niḏ·hām kə·ḡib·bō·wr lō- yū·ḵal lə·hō·wō·šî·a‘ wə·’at·tāh ḇə·qir·bê·nū Yah·weh niq·rā wə·šim·ḵā ‘ā·lê·nū ’al- tan·ni·ḥê·nūWLC · 9

This is what the LORD says about this people: “Truly they love to wander; they have not restrained their feet. So the LORD does not accept them; He will now remember their iniquity and punish them for their sins.”

𐤊𐤄 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤄𐤆𐤄 𐤋𐤏𐤌 𐤊𐤍 𐤀𐤄𐤁𐤅 𐤋𐤍𐤅𐤏 𐤋𐤀 𐤇𐤔𐤊𐤅 𐤓𐤂𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤅𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤋𐤀 𐤓𐤑𐤌 𐤏𐤕𐤄 𐤉𐤆𐤊𐤓 𐤏𐤅𐤍𐤌 𐤅𐤉𐤐𐤒𐤃 𐤇𐤈𐤀𐤕𐤌𐤎

כֹּֽה־ יְהוָ֜ה אָמַ֨ר הַזֶּ֗ה לָעָ֣ם כֵּ֤ן אָֽהֲבוּ֙ לָנ֔וּעַ לֹ֣א חָשָׂ֑כוּ רַגְלֵיהֶ֖ם וַיהוָה֙ לֹ֣א רָצָ֔ם עַתָּה֙ יִזְכֹּ֣ר עֲוֺנָ֔ם וְיִפְקֹ֖ד חַטֹּאתָֽם׃ס kōh- Yah·weh ’ā·mar haz·zeh lā·‘ām kên ’ā·hă·ḇū lā·nū·a‘ lō ḥā·śā·ḵū raḡ·lê·hem Yah·weh lō rā·ṣām ‘at·tāh yiz·kōr ‘ă·wō·nām wə·yip̄·qōḏ ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯāmWLC · 10

Then the LORD said to me, “Do not pray for the well-being of this people.

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤀𐤋𐤉 𐤀𐤋 𐤕𐤕𐤐𐤋𐤋 𐤁𐤏𐤃 𐤋𐤈𐤅𐤁𐤄 𐤄𐤆𐤄 𐤄𐤏𐤌

יְהוָ֖ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֑י אַל־ תִּתְפַּלֵּ֛ל בְּעַד־ לְטוֹבָֽה׃ הַזֶּ֖ה הָעָ֥ם Yah·weh way·yō·mer ’ê·lāy ’al- tiṯ·pal·lêl bə·‘aḏ- lə·ṭō·w·ḇāh haz·zeh hā·‘āmWLC · 11

Although they may fast, I will not listen to… their cry; although they may offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will finish them off by sword and famine and plague.”

𐤊𐤉 𐤉𐤑𐤌𐤅 𐤀𐤉𐤍𐤍𐤉 𐤔𐤌𐤏 𐤀𐤋 𐤓𐤍𐤕𐤌 𐤅𐤊𐤉 𐤉𐤏𐤋𐤅 𐤏𐤋𐤄 𐤅𐤌𐤍𐤇𐤄 𐤀𐤉𐤍𐤍𐤉 𐤓𐤑𐤌 𐤊𐤉 𐤀𐤍𐤊𐤉 𐤌𐤊𐤋𐤄 𐤀𐤅𐤕𐤌𐤎 𐤁𐤇𐤓𐤁 𐤅𐤁𐤓𐤏𐤁 𐤅𐤁𐤃𐤁𐤓

כִּ֣י יָצֻ֗מוּ אֵינֶ֤נִּי שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ אֶל־ רִנָּתָ֔ם וְכִ֧י יַעֲל֛וּ עֹלָ֥ה וּמִנְחָ֖ה אֵינֶ֣נִּי רֹצָ֑ם כִּ֗י אָנֹכִ֖י מְכַלֶּ֥ה אוֹתָֽם׃ס בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ וּבָרָעָ֣ב וּבַדֶּ֔בֶר kî yā·ṣu·mū ’ê·nen·nî šō·mê·a‘ ’el- rin·nā·ṯām wə·ḵî ya·‘ă·lū ‘ō·lāh ū·min·ḥāh ’ê·nen·nî rō·ṣām kî ’ā·nō·ḵî mə·ḵal·leh ’ō·w·ṯām ba·ḥe·reḇ ū·ḇā·rā·‘āḇ ū·ḇad·de·ḇerWLC · 12

“Ah, Lord GOD!” I replied, “Look, the prophets are telling them, ‘You will not see the sword or suffer famine,… but I will give you lasting peace in this place.’”

𐤀𐤄𐤄 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤅𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤄𐤍𐤄 𐤄𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤀𐤌𐤓𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤄𐤌 𐤋𐤀 𐤕𐤓𐤀𐤅 𐤇𐤓𐤁 𐤉𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤋𐤊𐤌 𐤅𐤓𐤏𐤁 𐤋𐤀 𐤊𐤉 𐤀𐤕𐤍 𐤋𐤊𐤌 𐤀𐤌𐤕 𐤔𐤋𐤅𐤌 𐤄𐤆𐤄𐤎 𐤁𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌

אֲהָ֣הּ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה וָאֹמַ֞ר הִנֵּ֨ה הַנְּבִאִ֜ים אֹמְרִ֤ים לָהֶם֙ לֹֽא־ תִרְא֣וּ חֶ֔רֶב יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֑ם וְרָעָ֖ב לֹֽא־ כִּֽי־ אֶתֵּ֣ן לָכֶ֔ם אֱמֶת֙ שְׁל֤וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ס בַּמָּק֖וֹם ’ă·hāh ’ă·ḏō·nāy Yah·weh wā·’ō·mar hin·nêh han·nə·ḇi·’îm ’ō·mə·rîm lā·hem lō- ṯir·’ū ḥe·reḇ yih·yeh lā·ḵem wə·rā·‘āḇ lō- kî- ’et·tên lā·ḵem ’ĕ·meṯ šə·lō·wm haz·zeh bam·mā·qō·wmWLC · 13

“The prophets are prophesying lies in My name,” replied the LORD “I did not send them [or] appoint them [or] speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, a worthless divination, the futility and delusion of their own minds.

𐤄𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤔𐤒𐤓 𐤁𐤔𐤌𐤉 𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤀𐤋𐤉 𐤋𐤀 𐤔𐤋𐤇𐤕𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤋𐤀 𐤑𐤅𐤉𐤕𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤋𐤀 𐤃𐤁𐤓𐤕𐤉 𐤀𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤄𐤌𐤄 𐤌𐤕𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤊𐤌𐤎 𐤔𐤒𐤓 𐤇𐤆𐤅𐤍 𐤅𐤒𐤎𐤌 𐤅𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤋 𐤅𐤕𐤓𐤌𐤅𐤕 𐤋𐤁𐤌

הַנְּבִאִים֙ נִבְּאִ֣ים שֶׁ֚קֶר בִּשְׁמִ֔י וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י לֹ֤א שְׁלַחְתִּים֙ וְלֹ֣א צִוִּיתִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א דִבַּ֖רְתִּי אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם הֵ֖מָּה מִֽתְנַבְּאִ֥ים לָכֶֽם׃ס שֶׁ֜קֶר חֲז֨וֹן וְקֶ֤סֶם וֶאֱלוּל וְתַרְמוּת לִבָּ֔ם han·nə·ḇi·’îm nib·bə·’îm še·qer biš·mî way·yō·mer Yah·weh ’ê·lay lō šə·laḥ·tîm wə·lō ṣiw·wî·ṯîm wə·lō ḏib·bar·tî ’ă·lê·hem hêm·māh miṯ·nab·bə·’îm lā·ḵem še·qer ḥă·zō·wn wə·qe·sem wɛ·ʾɛ̆·lūl wə·ṯar·mūṯ lib·bāmWLC · 14

Therefore this is what the LORD says about the prophets who prophesy in My name: I did not send them, yet they say, ‘No sword or famine will touch this land.’ By sword and famine these very prophets will meet their end!

𐤋𐤊𐤍 𐤊𐤄 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤏𐤋 𐤄𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤄𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤁𐤔𐤌𐤉 𐤅𐤀𐤍𐤉 𐤋𐤀 𐤔𐤋𐤇𐤕𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤄𐤌𐤄 𐤀𐤌𐤓𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤀 𐤇𐤓𐤁 𐤅𐤓𐤏𐤁 𐤉𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤄𐤆𐤀𐤕 𐤁𐤀𐤓𐤑 𐤁𐤇𐤓𐤁 𐤅𐤁𐤓𐤏𐤁 𐤄𐤄𐤌𐤄 𐤄𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤉𐤕𐤌𐤅

לָכֵ֞ן כֹּֽה־ יְהוָ֗ה אָמַ֣ר עַֽל־ הַנְּבִאִ֞ים הַנִּבְּאִ֣ים בִּשְׁמִי֮ וַאֲנִ֣י לֹֽא־ שְׁלַחְתִּים֒ וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ אֹֽמְרִ֔ים לֹ֥א חֶ֣רֶב וְרָעָ֔ב יִהְיֶ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את בָּאָ֣רֶץ בַּחֶ֤רֶב וּבָֽרָעָב֙ הָהֵֽמָּה׃ הַנְּבִאִ֖ים יִתַּ֔מּוּ lā·ḵên kōh- Yah·weh ’ā·mar ‘al- han·nə·ḇi·’îm han·nib·bə·’îm biš·mî wa·’ă·nî lō- šə·laḥ·tîm wə·hêm·māh ’ō·mə·rîm lō ḥe·reḇ wə·rā·‘āḇ yih·yeh haz·zōṯ bā·’ā·reṣ ba·ḥe·reḇ ū·ḇā·rā·‘āḇ hā·hêm·māh han·nə·ḇi·’îm yit·tam·mūWLC · 15

And the people to whom they prophesy will be thrown into the streets of Jerusalem because of famine and sword. There will be no one to bury them or their wives, their sons or their daughters. I will pour out their own evil upon them -.

𐤅𐤄𐤏𐤌 𐤀𐤔𐤓 𐤄𐤌𐤄 𐤍𐤁𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤄𐤌 𐤉𐤄𐤉𐤅 𐤌𐤔𐤋𐤊𐤉𐤌 𐤁𐤇𐤑𐤅𐤕 𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 𐤌𐤐𐤍𐤉 𐤄𐤓𐤏𐤁 𐤅𐤄𐤇𐤓𐤁 𐤅𐤀𐤉𐤍 𐤌𐤒𐤁𐤓 𐤋𐤄𐤌𐤄 𐤄𐤌𐤄 𐤍𐤔𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤅𐤁𐤍𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤅𐤁𐤍𐤕𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤅𐤔𐤐𐤊𐤕𐤉 𐤓𐤏𐤕𐤌 𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤀𐤕

וְהָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־ הֵ֣מָּה נִבְּאִ֣ים לָהֶ֡ם יִֽהְי֣וּ מֻשְׁלָכִים֩ בְּחֻצ֨וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם מִפְּנֵ֣י׀ הָרָעָ֣ב וְהַחֶ֗רֶב וְאֵ֤ין מְקַבֵּר֙ לָהֵ֔מָּה הֵ֣מָּה נְשֵׁיהֶ֔ם וּבְנֵיהֶ֖ם וּבְנֹֽתֵיהֶ֑ם וְשָׁפַכְתִּ֥י רָעָתָֽם׃ עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם אֶת־ wə·hā·‘ām ’ă·šer- hêm·māh nib·bə·’îm lā·hem yih·yū muš·lā·ḵîm bə·ḥu·ṣō·wṯ yə·rū·šā·lim mip·pə·nê hā·rā·‘āḇ wə·ha·ḥe·reḇ wə·’ên mə·qab·bêr lā·hêm·māh hêm·māh nə·šê·hem ū·ḇə·nê·hem ū·ḇə·nō·ṯê·hem wə·šā·p̄aḵ·tî rā·‘ā·ṯām ‘ă·lê·hem ’eṯ-WLC · 16

You are to speak this word to them: ‘My eyes overflow with tears; day and night they do not cease, for the virgin daughter of my people has been shattered by a crushing blow, a severely grievous wound.

If I go out to the country, I see those slain by the sword; if I enter the city, I see those ravaged by famine! For both prophet and priest travel to a land they do not know.’”

Have You rejected Judah completely?… Do You despise Zion? Why have You stricken us so that we are beyond healing? We hoped for peace, but no good has come, and for the time of healing, but there was only terror.

For the sake of Your name do not despise us; do not disgrace Your glorious throne. Remember Your covenant with us; do not break it.

Can the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies alone send showers? Is this not by You…, O LORD our God? So we put our hope in You, for You have done all these things.
