Chapter 69

The Waters Are up to My Neck

For the choirmaster. To the tune of “Lilies.” Of David. 1Save me, O God, for the waters are up to my neck.

𐤋𐤌𐤍𐤑𐤇 𐤏𐤋 𐤔𐤅𐤔𐤍𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤃𐤅𐤃 𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤉𐤏𐤍𐤉 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 𐤊𐤉 𐤌𐤉𐤌 𐤁𐤀𐤅 𐤏𐤃 𐤍𐤐𐤔

לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ עַֽל־ שׁוֹשַׁנִּ֬ים לְדָוִֽד׃ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֥נִי אֱלֹהִ֑ים כִּ֤י מַ֣יִם בָ֖אוּ עַד־ נָֽפֶשׁ׃ lam·naṣ·ṣê·aḥ ‘al- šō·wō·šan·nîm lə·ḏā·wiḏ hō·wō·šî·‘ê·nî ’ĕ·lō·hîm kî ma·yim ḇā·’ū ‘aḏ- nā·p̄ešWLC · 1

I have sunk into the miry depths, where [there is] no footing; I have drifted into deep waters, where the flood engulfs me.

טָבַ֤עְתִּי׀ בִּיוֵ֣ן מְ֭צוּלָה וְאֵ֣ין מָעֳמָ֑ד בָּ֥אתִי בְמַעֲמַקֵּי־ מַ֝֗יִם וְשִׁבֹּ֥לֶת שְׁטָפָֽתְנִי׃ ṭā·ḇa‘·tî bî·wên mə·ṣū·lāh wə·’ên mā·‘o·māḏ bā·ṯî ḇə·ma·‘ă·maq·qê- ma·yim wə·šib·bō·leṯ šə·ṭā·p̄ā·ṯə·nîWLC · 2

I am weary from my crying; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God.

יָגַ֣עְתִּי בְקָרְאִי֮ גְּר֫וֹנִ֥י נִחַ֪ר עֵינַ֑י כָּל֥וּ מְ֝יַחֵ֗ל לֵאלֹהָֽי׃ yā·ḡa‘·tî ḇə·qā·rə·’î gə·rō·w·nî ni·ḥar ‘ê·nay kā·lū mə·ya·ḥêl lê·lō·hāyWLC · 3

Those who hate me without cause outnumber the hairs of my head; many are those who would destroy me— my enemies for no reason -. Though I did not steal,… I must repay.

שֹׂנְאַ֪י חִ֫נָּ֥ם רַבּ֤וּ׀ מִשַּׂעֲר֣וֹת רֹאשִׁי֮ עָצְמ֣וּ מַ֭צְמִיתַי אֹיְבַ֣י שֶׁ֑קֶר אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־ גָ֝זַ֗לְתִּי אָ֣ז אָשִֽׁיב׃ śō·nə·’ay ḥin·nām rab·bū miś·śa·‘ă·rō·wṯ rō·šî ‘ā·ṣə·mū maṣ·mî·ṯay ’ō·yə·ḇay še·qer ’ă·šer lō- ḡā·zal·tî ’āz ’ā·šîḇWLC · 4

You know my folly, O God, and my guilt is not hidden from You.

אַתָּ֣ה יָ֭דַעְתָּ לְאִוַּלְתִּ֑י אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים וְ֝אַשְׁמוֹתַ֗י לֹא־ נִכְחָֽדוּ׃ מִמְּךָ֥ ’at·tāh yā·ḏa‘·tā lə·’iw·wal·tî ’ĕlō·hîm wə·’aš·mō·w·ṯay lō- niḵ·ḥā·ḏū mim·mə·ḵāWLC · 5

May those who hope in You not be ashamed through me, O Lord GOD of Hosts; may those who seek You not be dishonored through me, O God of Israel.

𐤒𐤅𐤉𐤊 𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤅 𐤁𐤉 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤑𐤁𐤀𐤅𐤕 𐤌𐤁𐤒𐤔𐤉𐤊 𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤊𐤋𐤌𐤅 𐤁𐤉 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋

קֹוֶיךָ֮ אַל־ יֵ֘בֹ֤שׁוּ בִ֨י׀ אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִ֗ה צְבָ֫א֥וֹת מְבַקְשֶׁ֑יךָ אַל־ יִכָּ֣לְמוּ בִ֣י אֱ֝לֹהֵ֗י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ qō·we·ḵā ’al- yê·ḇō·šū ḇî ’ă·ḏō·nāy Yah·weh ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ mə·ḇaq·še·ḵā ’al- yik·kā·lə·mū ḇî ’ĕ·lō·hê yiś·rā·’êlWLC · 6

For I have endured scorn for Your sake, and shame has covered my face.

כִּֽי־ נָשָׂ֣אתִי חֶרְפָּ֑ה עָ֭לֶיךָ כְלִמָּ֣ה כִּסְּתָ֖ה פָנָֽי׃ kî- nā·śā·ṯî ḥer·pāh ‘ā·le·ḵā ḵə·lim·māh kis·sə·ṯāh p̄ā·nāyWLC · 7

I have become a stranger to my brothers and a foreigner to my mother’s sons,

𐤄𐤉𐤉𐤕𐤉 𐤌𐤅𐤆𐤓 𐤋𐤀𐤇𐤉 𐤅𐤍𐤊𐤓𐤉 𐤀𐤌𐤉 𐤋𐤁𐤍𐤉

הָיִ֣יתִי מ֭וּזָר לְאֶחָ֑י וְ֝נָכְרִ֗י אִמִּֽי׃ לִבְנֵ֥י hā·yî·ṯî mū·zār lə·’e·ḥāy wə·nā·ḵə·rî ’im·mî liḇ·nêWLC · 8

because zeal for Your house has consumed me, and the insults of those who insult You have fallen on me.

𐤊𐤉 𐤒𐤍𐤀𐤕 𐤁𐤉𐤕𐤊 𐤀𐤊𐤋𐤕𐤍𐤉 𐤅𐤇𐤓𐤐𐤅𐤕 𐤇𐤅𐤓𐤐𐤉𐤊 𐤍𐤐𐤋𐤅 𐤏𐤋𐤉

כִּֽי־ קִנְאַ֣ת בֵּיתְךָ֣ אֲכָלָ֑תְנִי וְחֶרְפּ֥וֹת ח֝וֹרְפֶ֗יךָ נָפְל֥וּ עָלָֽי׃ kî- qin·’aṯ bê·ṯə·ḵā ’ă·ḵā·lā·ṯə·nî wə·ḥer·pō·wṯ ḥō·wr·p̄e·ḵā nā·p̄ə·lū ‘ā·lāyWLC · 9

I wept and fasted, but it brought me reproach

נַפְשִׁ֑י וָאֶבְכֶּ֣ה בַצּ֣וֹם וַתְּהִ֖י לַחֲרָפ֣וֹת לִֽי׃ nap̄·šî wā·’eḇ·keh ḇaṣ·ṣō·wm wat·tə·hî la·ḥă·rā·p̄ō·wṯ lîWLC · 10

I made sackcloth my clothing, and I was sport to them.

𐤅𐤀𐤕𐤍𐤄 𐤔𐤒 𐤋𐤁𐤅𐤔𐤉 𐤅𐤀𐤄𐤉 𐤋𐤌𐤔𐤋 𐤋𐤄𐤌

וָאֶתְּנָ֣ה שָׂ֑ק לְבוּשִׁ֣י וָאֱהִ֖י לְמָשָֽׁל׃ לָהֶ֣ם wā·’et·tə·nāh śāq lə·ḇū·šî wā·’ĕ·hî lə·mā·šāl lā·hemWLC · 11

Those who sit at the gate mock me, and I am the song of drunkards…

𐤉𐤔𐤁𐤉 𐤔𐤏𐤓 𐤉𐤔𐤉𐤇𐤅 𐤁𐤉 𐤅𐤍𐤂𐤉𐤍𐤅𐤕 𐤔𐤅𐤕𐤉 𐤔𐤊𐤓

יֹ֣שְׁבֵי שָׁ֑עַר יָשִׂ֣יחוּ בִ֭י וּ֝נְגִינ֗וֹת שׁוֹתֵ֥י שֵׁכָֽר׃ yō·šə·ḇê šā·‘ar yā·śî·ḥū ḇî ū·nə·ḡî·nō·wṯ šō·w·ṯê šê·ḵārWLC · 12

But my prayer to You, O LORD, is for a time of favor. In Your abundant loving devotion, O God, answer me with Your sure salvation.

𐤅𐤀𐤍𐤉 𐤕𐤐𐤋𐤕𐤉 𐤋𐤊 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤏𐤕 𐤓𐤑𐤅𐤍 𐤁𐤓𐤁 𐤇𐤎𐤃𐤊 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 𐤏𐤍𐤍𐤉 𐤁𐤀𐤌𐤕 𐤉𐤔𐤏𐤊

וַאֲנִ֤י תְפִלָּתִֽי־ לְךָ֨׀ יְהוָ֡ה עֵ֤ת רָצ֗וֹן בְּרָב־ חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ אֱלֹהִ֥ים עֲ֝נֵ֗נִי בֶּאֱמֶ֥ת יִשְׁעֶֽךָ׃ wa·’ă·nî ṯə·p̄il·lā·ṯî- lə·ḵā Yah·weh ‘êṯ rā·ṣō·wn bə·rāḇ- ḥas·de·ḵā ’ĕ·lō·hîm ‘ă·nê·nî be·’ĕ·meṯ yiš·‘e·ḵāWLC · 13

Rescue me from the mire and do not let me sink; deliver me from my foes and out of the deep waters.

הַצִּילֵ֣נִי מִ֭טִּיט וְאַל־ אֶטְבָּ֑עָה אִנָּצְלָ֥ה מִ֝שֹּֽׂנְאַ֗י וּמִמַּֽעֲמַקֵּי־ מָֽיִם׃ haṣ·ṣî·lê·nî miṭ·ṭîṭ wə·’al- ’eṭ·bā·‘āh ’in·nā·ṣə·lāh miś·śō·nə·’ay ū·mim·ma·‘ă·maq·qê- mā·yimWLC · 14

Do not let the floods… engulf me or the depths… swallow me up; let not the Pit close its mouth over me.

אַל־ שִׁבֹּ֣לֶת מַ֭יִם תִּשְׁטְפֵ֤נִי׀ מְצוּלָ֑ה וְאַל־ תִּבְלָעֵ֣נִי וְאַל־ בְּאֵ֣ר תֶּאְטַר־ פִּֽיהָ׃ עָלַ֖י ’al- šib·bō·leṯ ma·yim tiš·ṭə·p̄ê·nî mə·ṣū·lāh wə·’al- tiḇ·lā·‘ê·nî wə·’al- bə·’êr te’·ṭar- pî·hā ‘ā·layWLC · 15

Answer me, O LORD, for Your loving devotion is good; turn to me in keeping with Your great compassion.

𐤏𐤍𐤍𐤉 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤊𐤉 𐤇𐤎𐤃𐤊 𐤈𐤅𐤁 𐤐𐤍𐤄 𐤀𐤋𐤉 𐤊𐤓𐤁 𐤓𐤇𐤌𐤉𐤊

עֲנֵ֣נִי יְ֭הוָה כִּי־ חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ ט֣וֹב פְּנֵ֣ה אֵלָֽי׃ כְּרֹ֥ב רַ֝חֲמֶ֗יךָ ‘ă·nê·nî Yah·weh kî- ḥas·de·ḵā ṭō·wḇ pə·nêh ’ê·lāy kə·rōḇ ra·ḥă·me·ḵāWLC · 16

Hide not Your face from Your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me quickly!

תַּסְתֵּ֣ר וְאַל־ פָּ֭נֶיךָ מֵֽעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ כִּֽי־ צַר־ עֲנֵֽנִי׃ לִ֝֗י מַהֵ֥ר tas·têr wə·’al- pā·ne·ḵā mê·‘aḇ·de·ḵā kî- ṣar- ‘ă·nê·nî lî ma·hêrWLC · 17

Draw near to my soul and redeem me; ransom me because of my foes.

קָרְבָ֣ה אֶל־ נַפְשִׁ֣י גְאָלָ֑הּ פְּדֵֽנִי׃ לְמַ֖עַן אֹיְבַ֣י qā·rə·ḇāh ’el- nap̄·šî ḡə·’ā·lāh pə·ḏê·nî lə·ma·‘an ’ō·yə·ḇayWLC · 18

You know my reproach, my shame and disgrace. All my adversaries are before You.

אַתָּ֤ה יָדַ֗עְתָּ חֶרְפָּתִ֣י וּ֭בָשְׁתִּי וּכְלִמָּתִ֑י כָּל־ צוֹרְרָֽי׃ נֶ֝גְדְּךָ֗ ’at·tāh yā·ḏa‘·tā ḥer·pā·ṯî ū·ḇā·šə·tî ū·ḵə·lim·mā·ṯî kāl- ṣō·wr·rāy neḡ·də·ḵāWLC · 19

20

Insults have broken my heart, and I am in despair. I looked for sympathy, but there was none, for comforters, but I found no one.

חֶרְפָּ֤ה׀ שָֽׁבְרָ֥ה לִבִּ֗י וָֽאָ֫נ֥וּשָׁה וָאֲקַוֶּ֣ה לָנ֣וּד וָאַ֑יִן וְ֝לַמְנַחֲמִ֗ים מָצָֽאתִי׃ וְלֹ֣א ḥer·pāh šā·ḇə·rāh lib·bî wā·’ā·nū·šāh wā·’ă·qaw·weh lā·nūḏ wā·’a·yin wə·lam·na·ḥă·mîm mā·ṣā·ṯî wə·lōWLC · 20

They poisoned my food with gall and gave me vinegar to quench my thirst.

𐤅𐤉𐤕𐤍𐤅 𐤁𐤁𐤓𐤅𐤕𐤉 𐤓𐤀𐤔 𐤇𐤌𐤑 𐤉𐤔𐤒𐤅𐤍𐤉 𐤅𐤋𐤑𐤌𐤀𐤉

וַיִּתְּנ֣וּ בְּבָרוּתִ֣י רֹ֑אשׁ חֹֽמֶץ׃ יַשְׁק֥וּנִי וְ֝לִצְמָאִ֗י way·yit·tə·nū bə·ḇā·rū·ṯî rōš ḥō·meṣ yaš·qū·nî wə·liṣ·mā·’îWLC · 21

22

May their table… become a snare; may it be a retribution and a trap.

𐤉𐤄𐤉 𐤋𐤐𐤍𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤔𐤋𐤇𐤍𐤌 𐤋𐤐𐤇 𐤅𐤋𐤔𐤋𐤅𐤌𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤌𐤅𐤒𐤔

יְהִֽי־ לִפְנֵיהֶ֣ם שֻׁלְחָנָ֣ם לְפָ֑ח וְלִשְׁלוֹמִ֥ים לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃ yə·hî- lip̄·nê·hem šul·ḥā·nām lə·p̄āḥ wə·liš·lō·w·mîm lə·mō·w·qêšWLC · 22

May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.

𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤕𐤇𐤔𐤊𐤍𐤄 𐤌𐤓𐤀𐤅𐤕 𐤅𐤌𐤕𐤍𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤄𐤌𐤏𐤃 𐤕𐤌𐤉𐤃

עֵ֭ינֵיהֶם תֶּחְשַׁ֣כְנָה מֵרְא֑וֹת וּ֝מָתְנֵ֗יהֶם הַמְעַֽד׃ תָּמִ֥יד ‘ê·nê·hem teḥ·šaḵ·nāh mê·rə·’ō·wṯ ū·mā·ṯə·nê·hem ham·‘aḏ tā·mîḏWLC · 23

Pour out Your wrath upon them, and let Your burning anger… overtake them.

𐤔𐤐𐤊 𐤆𐤏𐤌𐤊 𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤌 𐤅𐤇𐤓𐤅𐤍 𐤀𐤐𐤊 𐤉𐤔𐤉𐤂𐤌

שְׁפָךְ־ זַעְמֶ֑ךָ עֲלֵיהֶ֥ם וַחֲר֥וֹן אַ֝פְּךָ֗ יַשִּׂיגֵֽם׃ šə·p̄āḵ- za‘·me·ḵā ‘ă·lê·hem wa·ḥă·rō·wn ’ap·pə·ḵā yaś·śî·ḡêmWLC · 24

May their place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in their tents.

𐤕𐤄𐤉 𐤈𐤉𐤓𐤕𐤌 𐤍𐤔𐤌𐤄 𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤄𐤉 𐤉𐤔𐤁 𐤁𐤀𐤄𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤌

תְּהִי־ טִֽירָתָ֥ם נְשַׁמָּ֑ה אַל־ יְהִ֥י יֹשֵֽׁב׃ בְּ֝אָהֳלֵיהֶ֗ם tə·hî- ṭî·rā·ṯām nə·šam·māh ’al- yə·hî yō·šêḇ bə·’ā·ho·lê·hemWLC · 25

26

For they persecute the one You struck and recount… the pain of those You wounded.

𐤊𐤉 𐤓𐤃𐤐𐤅 𐤀𐤔𐤓 𐤀𐤕𐤄 𐤄𐤊𐤉𐤕 𐤉𐤎𐤐𐤓𐤅 𐤅𐤀𐤋 𐤌𐤊𐤀𐤅𐤁 𐤇𐤋𐤋𐤉𐤊

כִּֽי־ רָדָ֑פוּ אֲשֶׁר־ אַתָּ֣ה הִכִּ֣יתָ יְסַפֵּֽרוּ׃ וְאֶל־ מַכְא֖וֹב חֲלָלֶ֣יךָ kî- rā·ḏā·p̄ū ’ă·šer- ’at·tāh hik·kî·ṯā yə·sap·pê·rū wə·’el- maḵ·’ō·wḇ ḥă·lā·le·ḵāWLC · 26

27

Add iniquity to their iniquity; let them not share in Your righteousness.

𐤕𐤍𐤄 𐤏𐤅𐤍 𐤏𐤋 𐤏𐤅𐤍𐤌 𐤅𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤁𐤀𐤅 𐤁𐤑𐤃𐤒𐤕𐤊

תְּֽנָה־ עָ֭וֺן עַל־ עֲוֺנָ֑ם וְאַל־ יָ֝בֹ֗אוּ בְּצִדְקָתֶֽךָ׃ tə·nāh- ‘ā·wōn ‘al- ‘ă·wō·nām wə·’al- yā·ḇō·’ū bə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯe·ḵāWLC · 27

May they be blotted out of the Book of Life and not listed with the righteous.

𐤉𐤌𐤇𐤅 𐤌𐤎𐤐𐤓 𐤇𐤉𐤉𐤌 𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤊𐤕𐤁𐤅 𐤅𐤏𐤌 𐤑𐤃𐤉𐤒𐤉𐤌

But I [am] in pain and distress; let Your salvation protect me, O God.

𐤅𐤀𐤍𐤉 𐤏𐤍𐤉 𐤅𐤊𐤅𐤀𐤁 𐤉𐤔𐤅𐤏𐤕𐤊 𐤕𐤔𐤂𐤁𐤍𐤉 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌

וַ֭אֲנִי עָנִ֣י וְכוֹאֵ֑ב יְשׁוּעָתְךָ֖ תְּשַׂגְּבֵֽנִי׃ אֱלֹהִ֣ים wa·’ă·nî ‘ā·nî wə·ḵō·w·’êḇ yə·šū·‘ā·ṯə·ḵā tə·śag·gə·ḇê·nî ’ĕ·lō·hîmWLC · 29

30

I will praise God’s name in song and exalt Him with thanksgiving.

𐤀𐤄𐤋𐤋𐤄 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 𐤔𐤌 𐤁𐤔𐤉𐤓 𐤅𐤀𐤂𐤃𐤋𐤍𐤅 𐤁𐤕𐤅𐤃𐤄

אֲהַֽלְלָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים שֵׁם־ בְּשִׁ֑יר וַאֲגַדְּלֶ֥נּוּ בְתוֹדָֽה׃ ’ă·hal·lāh ’ĕ·lō·hîm šêm- bə·šîr wa·’ă·ḡad·də·len·nū ḇə·ṯō·w·ḏāhWLC · 30

31

And this will please the LORD more than an ox, more than a bull with horns and hooves.

𐤅𐤕𐤉𐤈𐤁 𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤌𐤔𐤅𐤓 𐤐𐤓 𐤌𐤒𐤓𐤍 𐤌𐤐𐤓𐤉𐤎

וְתִיטַ֣ב לַֽ֭יהוָה מִשּׁ֥וֹר פָּ֗ר מַקְרִ֥ן מַפְרִֽיס׃ wə·ṯî·ṭaḇ Yah·weh miš·šō·wr pār maq·rin map̄·rîsWLC · 31

32

The humble will see and rejoice. You who seek God, let your hearts be revived!

𐤏𐤍𐤅𐤉𐤌 𐤓𐤀𐤅 𐤉𐤔𐤌𐤇𐤅 𐤃𐤓𐤔𐤉 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤁𐤁𐤊𐤌 𐤅𐤉𐤇𐤉

עֲנָוִ֣ים רָא֣וּ יִשְׂמָ֑חוּ דֹּרְשֵׁ֥י אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים לְבַבְכֶֽם׃ וִיחִ֥י ‘ă·nā·wîm rā·’ū yiś·mā·ḥū dō·rə·šê ’ĕ·lō·hîm lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem wî·ḥîWLC · 32

For the LORD listens to the needy and does not despise His captive people.

𐤊𐤉 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤅𐤀𐤕 𐤔𐤌𐤏 𐤀𐤋 𐤀𐤁𐤉𐤅𐤍𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤀 𐤁𐤆𐤄 𐤀𐤎𐤉𐤓𐤉𐤅

כִּֽי־ יְהוָ֑ה וְאֶת־ שֹׁמֵ֣עַ אֶל־ אֶבְיוֹנִ֣ים לֹ֣א בָזָֽה׃ אֲ֝סִירָ֗יו kî- Yah·weh wə·’eṯ- šō·mê·a‘ ’el- ’eḇ·yō·w·nîm lō ḇā·zāh ’ă·sî·rāwWLC · 33

Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them.

𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤀𐤓𐤑 𐤉𐤄𐤋𐤋𐤅𐤄𐤅 𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤊𐤋 𐤓𐤌𐤔 𐤁𐤌

שָׁמַ֣יִם וָאָ֑רֶץ יְֽ֭הַלְלוּהוּ יַ֝מִּ֗ים וְֽכָל־ רֹמֵ֥שׂ בָּֽם׃ šā·ma·yim wā·’ā·reṣ yə·hal·lū·hū yam·mîm wə·ḵāl rō·mêś bāmWLC · 34

For God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah, that they may dwell there and possess it.

𐤊𐤉 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 𐤉𐤅𐤔𐤉𐤏 𐤑𐤉𐤅𐤍 𐤅𐤉𐤁𐤍𐤄 𐤏𐤓𐤉 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 𐤅𐤉𐤔𐤁𐤅 𐤔𐤌 𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤔𐤅𐤄

כִּ֤י אֱלֹהִ֨ים׀ י֘וֹשִׁ֤יעַ צִיּ֗וֹן וְ֭יִבְנֶה עָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וְיָ֥שְׁבוּ שָׁ֝֗ם וִירֵשֽׁוּהָ׃ kî ’ĕ·lō·hîm yō·wō·šî·a‘ ṣî·yō·wn wə·yiḇ·neh ‘ā·rê yə·hū·ḏāh wə·yā·šə·ḇū šām wî·rê·šū·hāWLC · 35

36

The descendants of His servants will inherit it, and those who love His name will settle in it.
