Hallelujah…! Praise the name of the LORD. Give praise, O servants of the LORD,

הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ׀ הַֽ֭לְלוּ אֶת־ שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה הַֽ֝לְלוּ עַבְדֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ hal·lū yāh hal·lū ’eṯ- šêm Yah·weh hal·lū ‘aḇ·ḏê Yah·weh — WLC · 1

who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.

Hallelujah…, for the LORD is good; sing praises to His name, for it is lovely.

הַֽ֭לְלוּ־ יָהּ כִּי־ יְהוָ֑ה ט֣וֹב זַמְּר֥וּ לִ֝שְׁמ֗וֹ כִּ֣י נָעִֽים׃ hal·lū- yāh kî- Yah·weh ṭō·wḇ zam·mə·rū liš·mōw kî nā·‘îm — WLC · 3

For the LORD has chosen Jacob as His own, Israel as His treasured possession.

כִּֽי־ יָ֑הּ בָּחַ֣ר יַעֲקֹ֗ב ל֣וֹ יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל לִסְגֻלָּתֽוֹ׃ kî- yāh bā·ḥar ya·‘ă·qōḇ lōw yiś·rā·’êl lis·ḡul·lā·ṯōw — WLC · 4

For I know that the LORD is great; our Lord is above all gods.
𐤊𐤉 𐤀𐤍𐤉 𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤕𐤉 𐤊𐤉 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤂𐤃𐤅𐤋 𐤅𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉𐤍𐤅 𐤌𐤊𐤋 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌
כִּ֤י אֲנִ֣י יָ֭דַעְתִּי כִּי־ יְהוָ֑ה גָד֣וֹל וַ֝אֲדֹנֵ֗ינוּ מִכָּל־ אֱלֹהִֽים׃ kî ’ă·nî yā·ḏa‘·tî kî- Yah·weh ḡā·ḏō·wl wa·’ă·ḏō·nê·nū mik·kāl ’ĕ·lō·hîm — WLC · 5

The LORD does all that pleases Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and in all their depths.

יְהוָ֗ה עָ֫שָׂ֥ה כֹּ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־ חָפֵ֥ץ בַּשָּׁמַ֥יִם וּבָאָ֑רֶץ בַּ֝יַּמִּ֗ים וְכָל־ תְּהוֹמֽוֹת׃ Yah·weh ‘ā·śāh kōl ’ă·šer- ḥā·p̄êṣ baš·šā·ma·yim ū·ḇā·’ā·reṣ bay·yam·mîm wə·ḵāl tə·hō·w·mō·wṯ — WLC · 6

He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He generates the lightning with the rain and brings forth the wind from His storehouses.
𐤍𐤔𐤀𐤉𐤌 𐤌𐤏𐤋𐤄 𐤌𐤒𐤑𐤄 𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 𐤏𐤔𐤄 𐤁𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤌𐤈𐤓 𐤌𐤅𐤑𐤀 𐤓𐤅𐤇 𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤑𐤓𐤅𐤕𐤉𐤅
נְשִׂאִים֮ מַֽעֲלֶ֣ה מִקְצֵ֪ה הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ עָשָׂ֑ה בְּרָקִ֣ים לַמָּטָ֣ר מֽוֹצֵא־ ר֝וּחַ מֵאֽוֹצְרוֹתָֽיו׃ nə·śi·’îm ma·‘ă·leh miq·ṣêh hā·’ā·reṣ ‘ā·śāh bə·rā·qîm lam·mā·ṭār mō·w·ṣê- rū·aḥ mê·’ō·wṣ·rō·w·ṯāw — WLC · 7

He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, of both man and beast.

He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.

שָׁלַ֤ח׀ אֹת֣וֹת וּ֭מֹפְתִים בְּתוֹכֵ֣כִי מִצְרָ֑יִם בְּ֝פַרְעֹ֗ה וּבְכָל־ עֲבָדָֽיו׃ šā·laḥ ’ō·ṯō·wṯ ū·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm bə·ṯō·w·ḵê·ḵî miṣ·rā·yim bə·p̄ar·‘ōh ū·ḇə·ḵāl ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw — WLC · 9

He struck down many nations and slaughtered mighty kings:

שֶֽׁ֭הִכָּה רַבִּ֑ים גּוֹיִ֣ם וְ֝הָרַ֗ג עֲצוּמִֽים׃ מְלָכִ֥ים Še·hik·kāh rab·bîm gō·w·yim wə·hā·raḡ ‘ă·ṣū·mîm mə·lā·ḵîm — WLC · 10

Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kings of Canaan.

לְסִיח֤וֹן׀ מֶ֤לֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִ֗י וּ֭לְעוֹג מֶ֣לֶךְ הַבָּשָׁ֑ן וּ֝לְכֹ֗ל מַמְלְכ֥וֹת כְּנָֽעַן׃ lə·sî·ḥō·wn me·leḵ hā·’ĕ·mō·rî ū·lə·‘ō·wḡ me·leḵ hab·bā·šān ū·lə·ḵōl mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ kə·nā·‘an — WLC · 11

He gave their land as an inheritance, as a heritage to His people Israel.

וְנָתַ֣ן אַרְצָ֣ם נַחֲלָ֑ה נַ֝חֲלָ֗ה עַמּֽוֹ׃ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל wə·nā·ṯan ’ar·ṣām na·ḥă·lāh na·ḥă·lāh ‘am·mōw lə·yiś·rā·’êl — WLC · 12

Your name, O LORD, endures forever, Your renown, O LORD, through all generations…

שִׁמְךָ֣ יְ֭הוָה לְעוֹלָ֑ם זִכְרְךָ֥ יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְדֹר־ וָדֹֽר׃ šim·ḵā Yah·weh lə·‘ō·w·lām ziḵ·rə·ḵā Yah·weh lə·ḏōr- wā·ḏōr — WLC · 13

For the LORD will vindicate His people and will have compassion on His servants.

כִּֽי־ יְהוָ֣ה יָדִ֣ין עַמּ֑וֹ יִתְנֶחָֽם׃ וְעַל־ עֲ֝בָדָ֗יו kî- Yah·weh yā·ḏîn ‘am·mōw yiṯ·ne·ḥām wə·‘al- ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw — WLC · 14

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by the hands of men.
𐤏𐤑𐤁𐤉 𐤄𐤂𐤅𐤉𐤌 𐤊𐤎𐤐 𐤅𐤆𐤄𐤁 𐤌𐤏𐤔𐤄 𐤉𐤃𐤉 𐤀𐤃𐤌
עֲצַבֵּ֣י הַ֭גּוֹיִם כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֑ב מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗ה יְדֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃ ‘ă·ṣab·bê hag·gō·w·yim ke·sep̄ wə·zā·hāḇ ma·‘ă·śêh yə·ḏê ’ā·ḏām — WLC · 15

They have mouths…, but cannot speak; [they have] eyes…, but cannot see;

פֶּֽה־ לָ֭הֶם וְלֹ֣א יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ עֵינַ֥יִם לָ֝הֶ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יִרְאֽוּ׃ peh- lā·hem wə·lō yə·ḏab·bê·rū ‘ê·na·yim lā·hem wə·lō yir·’ū — WLC · 16

they have ears…, but cannot hear; nor is there breath in their mouths.
𐤀𐤆𐤍𐤉𐤌 𐤋𐤄𐤌 𐤅𐤋𐤀 𐤉𐤀𐤆𐤉𐤍𐤅 𐤀𐤐 𐤀𐤉𐤍 𐤉𐤔 𐤓𐤅𐤇 𐤁𐤐𐤉𐤄𐤌
אָזְנַ֣יִם לָ֭הֶם וְלֹ֣א יַאֲזִ֑ינוּ אַ֝֗ף אֵין־ יֶשׁ־ ר֥וּחַ בְּפִיהֶֽם׃ ’ā·zə·na·yim lā·hem wə·lō ya·’ă·zî·nū ’ap̄ ’ên- yeš- rū·aḥ bə·p̄î·hem — WLC · 17

Those who make them become like them, as do all who trust in them.

עֹשֵׂיהֶ֑ם יִהְי֣וּ כְּ֭מוֹהֶם כֹּ֭ל אֲשֶׁר־ בֹּטֵ֣חַ בָּהֶֽם׃ ‘ō·śê·hem yih·yū kə·mō·w·hem kōl ’ă·šer- bō·ṭê·aḥ bā·hem — WLC · 18

O house of Israel, bless the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless the LORD;
